It’s easy to think that there’s a right way to do things, especially in pregnancy, childbirth and throughout motherhood. But the truth is that women everywhere are beginning to turn away from the debilitating story that birth is an emergency to be managed and even feared. We’re awakening to the truth that the journey into motherhood is a divine, personal, and very natural emergence … We’re remembering the deep well of resilience, intuitive guidance and strength each of us carries within, just waiting to be tapped.
I didn’t always know this. That’s me with my husband and our three boys, and we’re an energetic, loving crew… But the path here hasn’t always been easy.
